Sims Uterine Probe
Probe for measuring the size of the uterus. The instrument is inserted into the uterus through the cervical canal. Before use, the cervical canal is mechanically dilated with Hegar dilators. The uterus is gripped with hook forceps for fixation.
Important note:
As the probe is in contact with the bloodstream, it must be used under sterile conditions.
Only suitable for use by specialised personnel.
